We hosted a CBD infused cocktail bar over the weekend and it was a HUGE hit!
Now with CBD being 100% legal in California its time to start the conversation about CBD cocktails. We have been working with some of California’s leading cannabis suppliers to create delicious and nutritional CBD infused beverages.
What is CBD?
CBD (short for cannabidiol) is a chemical component found in the Cannabis sativa plant aka Marijuana Plant. Over 80 chemical compounds known as “cannabinoids” have been discovered in Cannabis sativa plants. THC (delta-9-tetrahydrocannabino) is also a chemical component found in Cannabis which put in simple words “gets you high”. Producers have discovered a way to remove the THC from component from the plants to produce CBD only plants resulting in the high feeling being removed. What is left is a CBD product that has a calming effect while reducing pain and anxiety without altering your state of mind or feeling “high”. CBD is also used for blocking the psychoactive effects from THC to reduce the ‘high” feeling when too much THC has been consumed. Fresh lemon juice also assists at reducing the psychoactive effects from THC.
