Most events fall into one of three. Prices are for 100 guests over four hours in central Los Angeles, built from our published rates.

Staff are billed for setup and breakdown time. Totals include the $100 service charge per staff member, sales tax where it applies and the 3.6% card processing fee. The Platinum Bar is priced at light consumption, one to two drinks a guest. Full rate card.

When the bar, the food, the staff and the music come from four vendors, four people can say it was someone else's job. With us it is one person's job.
Every person we send is a W-2 employee of Platinum Bartenders LLC. We hire them, train them, schedule them and pay them. They are covered by our general liability, liquor liability and workers' compensation insurance, and our bartenders are RBS certified. Your venue gets a certificate of insurance on request.
Not every staffing company works this way. Some send independent contractors. If a contractor is hurt at your event, or does not turn up, working out who is responsible can land on you. With employees it lands on us.

How much does a bartender cost in Los Angeles?
Our bartenders are $79 an hour with a four hour minimum. Mixologists are $89. There is a $100 service charge per staff member and a 3.6% card processing fee. The full rate card is on our pricing page.
How many bartenders do I need?
One for every 50 guests. Add one if you are serving craft cocktails or expect people to drink heavily.
Are your staff employees or contractors?
Employees. Everyone we send is on our payroll and covered by our workers' compensation, general liability and liquor liability insurance.
Can you supply the alcohol?
Yes. Bar packages start at $19 a guest and include spirits, beer, wine, mixers, ice, garnishes and cups. You can also buy your own and book bartenders only.
How fast can you turn a quote around?
